Long-run impacts of boarding school in France AuthorsDavid Bernard, Luc Behaghel, Clément de Chaisemartin, Marc Gurgand Completion Time15 Minutes Close DateMay 1, 2023 DisciplineEconomics FieldEconomics Of Education CountryFrance Abstract Boarding schools are a form of education where students live and learn at the school. Although traditionally boarding schools were mostly for upper-class English and American families, there has been recent interest in using boarding schools to improve the progress of disadvantaged students. This study took place in France, with a boarding school which serves relatively high ability students from poor families. We ask you to predict the short and long-run effects of being randomly offered a spot to attend the boarding school.
10% of respondents to this survey will receive an accuracy reward of up to $100. There is also $40 reward if you complete at least 4 of these long-run surveys.
