Abstract
We are conducting a study on autism and strategic reasoning. Data collection is ongoing in two samples: an online sample of adults with relatively higher or lower autistic-trait scores and an in-lab clinical sample of autistic and non-autistic adults. Participants complete several strategic-thinking games measuring depth of reasoning, response time, and choice imprecision. We ask you to predict the standardized group differences (Cohen’s d) for these outcomes. This survey includes a $50 accuracy bonus. Ten percent of forecasters will be selected at random, and one of their 10 predictions will be randomly chosen for evaluation. Selected forecasters will receive the bonus if that prediction is within 0.20 of the corresponding study estimate.
