Abstract
This study analyzes the correlation between statistical significance and media attention. We have coded results from a random sample of 1,000 National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) Working Papers (WPs). Each NBER WP is linked to data from Altmetric.com to determine whether the NBER WP received any media attention.
